Brazilian singer and composer Adriana Calcanhotto has been atop Rhythm Foundation's wish list for years. Adriana Calcanhotto combines the poetic wit of Caetano Veloso with the elegant charm of Marisa Monte, to create modern and original MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira).
She is loved and respected for her beautiful voice and guitar, as well as her work as a composer. An important force in Brazilian culture since the 1980s, she makes her long-awaited Florida debut with a beautiful solo performance at the Colony Theater on July 18.
