Diego Torres, Oscar d’León, Jarabe de Palo, King Changó, El Grupo Niche, Amara La Negra, Caramelos de Cianuro, Divagash, Locos por Juana, Servando y Florentino, Patafunk, Eduardo Osorio, Donato Poveda, RoBa and Estados Alterados,  among others, are part of the exclusive list of stars so far confirmed for the event .

Miami prepares to host the "Rola Music Fest", the first music festival of its kind, to celebrate the diversity of Latin music. The event, which boasts a prestigious roster of artists including Diego Torres, Oscar d’León, Jarabe de Palo, Wilfrido Vargas, King Changó, El Grupo Niche, Amara La Negra, Caramelos de Cianuro, Divagash, Locos por Juana, Servando y Florentino, Patafunk, Eduardo Osorio, Donato Poveda, RoBa and Estados Alterados, among others, are part of the exclusive list of stars confirmed for the event to be held in November at the Klipsch Amphitheater, Bayfront Park Bayfront Park in Miami.

 

Produced by Imagine Entertainment Group, "Rola Music Fest" begins on Friday November 11 at 6 pm with a tropical evening by major figures in the world of Salsa and Merengue:  Venezuelan legend Oscar d'Leon, Wilfrido Vargas, Dominican top creator of merengue hits,  prestigious Colombia salsa orchestra Grupo Niche, aside from the participation of great important figures from our city like the up coming rising star Amara La Negra.

 

On Saturday November 12, the party continues with a list of household names from Spanish rock and alternative music, the unmistakable style of the Spanish band Jarabe de Palo, the greatest exponents of reggae and ska in Argentina Los Pericos, the renowned punk Venezuelan rock band Caramelos de Cianuro, famed Latin roots ska group King Changó, electronic ensemble Colombian Divagash, Colombian rock pioneers Estados Alterados, and, from Miami, the fusion of urban with alternative and funk music, Grammy-nominated, Locos Por Juana, pop idol and ex-Menudo, Robert Avellanet, better known as RoBa and Miami's Electrópico selector Mr. Pauer . Hosting that day will be Kike Posada, pioneer in the broadcasting of Latin rock in this city.

 

 

On Sunday, November 13th , the big show wraps up with a wonderful line up: International renown singer songwriter Diego Torres, the Cuban troubadour and songwriter Donato Poveda, the renowned Venezuelan musical duo Servando y Florentino,  Venezuelan composer Eduardo Osorio, and the New York band Patafunk . Moreover,  intermissions will be enlivened by DJ Nayib Estefan. More musical acts will be announced shortly.

 

For three consecutive days in Miami the public will enjoy an eclectic mix of Latin rhythms from rock, tropical music and pop. "Rola Fest is a scenario designed not just for one type of genre, but, rather, aims to create a space that despite different musical tastes and trends everyone can come together to celebrate Latin culture, " said Javier Maggiolo, creator and organizer of the event.
