With ancestors entering through Ellis Island, and garments created, produced, and made in the USA. Feltraiger keeps it America as F*ck.

Here in South Florida we know all too well what it's like to be a first or second generation American, and let's be completely honest, those of us that are first or second gens easily dismiss those immigrants that crossed the Atlantic a la Mayflower. Then there's Brooklyn, the city where tons of art bound young folk migrate to in hopes of being the next big "it" anything. With all this in mind it's refreshing to see a label that mixes the best of both worlds and chooses a classic aesthetic that still keeps up with the times.

Meet Feltraiger, a Brooklyn-based men's clothing line that knows a thing or two about subcultures but in the end knows that nothing looks better on a man than a classic cut ensemble. Dan Feldman is the label's founder and creative director. His family moved to NYC in the early 1900's (take that hipsters!). Although Dan is originally from Miami, he attended Parsons (ok, he couldn't escape the NYC fate) and has paid tribute his family's roots by naming the label after their original Russian last name... Feltraiger.

Last week, the brand set up pop-up shop during Basel at The Hangar in Wynwood. Pairing up with Jack Germain Handbags, Super Music Group, and a photography installation by Jon C. Feldman, a MIA vs. NYC  themed weekend was a-go. Those of you that missed it can check out some of the event's photos up top, and you can view all of Feltraiger's collections on their website.

We're also doing a contest with them! So if you like what see here then follow the instructions below for your chance to score one of their graphic shirts.
