Argentina looses one of it's great musicians.
Spinetta announced December of last year that he was undergoing lung cancer treatment which was diagnosed that previous July. Unfortunately, Spinetta passed away in Argentina today February 8, 2012.
A terrible loss for the music world and Latin America, "El flaco" will be remembered for his contribution in bands like Almendra and Pescado Rabioso.
We wish his family and friends nothing but the best.
