As we all know and wish we didn't, Lady Gaga has come out with another video to make all media (including this one) talk about her. So let's do it, shall we? I'm going to start by saying she creeps me out. Not even joking. Even the fact that I sing her songs in my sleep bothers me. Her persona is a huge portrait of mind control. She's the epitome of a pop star and it scares me. I think all this came after I read this article here, which you should read and giggle about with me.
All I can think about when I see her expensive videos is, there has to be something behind it, because it takes too much money and time to make them happen. And maybe it's not her, but a team of weirdos is maximizing this whole pop star thing into creepy hypnotizing proportions, repeating her figure, her left eye, pyramids, death symbols and phrases in a drone-like way. It. creeps. me. out.
So in her latest video, that if analyzed sounds pretty dumb: "Roma-romamamance, gaga ooh lala" (Oh man! I'm blown away! I wonder how long she took to come up with those lyrics) she portrays weird-ass creatures and tries to mix in the whole bath-haus thing, she even shows herself looking like an alien, horribly skinny and with her spine popping out like a dinosaur. All I can think about is the younglings that watch this.
But I don't want you to see me as a hater, no no no. I'm saying these things because she considers herself an "artist" and goes about saying she wants to be the next "Andy Warhol", oh PLEASE. All she does is call attention to herself. If we want to look at an artist/musician, why don't we look at Björk? Hello baby, watch and learn from the masters.
Oh you still want to see the abomination of a video? Here goes:
