229 crimes were reported at Scotland's T in the Park this year, and 2 of those crimes caused 3 victims to be seriously injured.
The first set of victims were 2 men found suffering of "serious abdominal injuries" they had received on their way to the festival campsite after the conclusion of the music festival. As officials requested the help of festival goers, 3 witnesses were able to help tract down 2 possible suspects.
Meanwhile on the other side of the festival, a woman also resulted seriously injured after being sexually assaulted. Police are looking into interrogating a suspect.
So while no one actually ended up dead, ending up in a hospital due to assault doesn't alleviate the situation. Those of us that are avid festival attendees need to stay alert, and most of all keep away from doing stupid things and hanging around stupid people (although "stupid" seems to be inescapable).
