Taking
Tea is an ancient art, a ceremony with buddha nature, and a passageway
into high society. Not to mention fragrant, delicious, and healthy!
Learn about the finest teas from Asia, how to use them for health,
flavor, and much more during our Tea Master certification series at Zen
Village. The class is also useful if you are in the service industry, as
learning how to properly serve tea is a prerequisite at the finest
hotels ...and restaurants.
Over four afternoons, the class will sit with renowned Taoist and Buddhist, Master Tsai, as she teaches the ancient secrets behind blending, brewing, and serving tea. Master Tsai has studied health, psychology, and Qi energy all over the world, from earning her appointment of Buddhist Master in Tibet through completing her doctorate in human energy fields in Switzerland. Join her community of thousands of students across the globe: in just two weekends, you will earn her certification of Zen Tea Master.
The cost of the class includes a delicious vegetarian lunch and a full range of delicious loose teas, shipped straight to us from Asia. If you cannot afford the sticker price of the class, we would be pleased to discuss scholarship options, or even accept service hours instead. Zen Village volunteers by sharing our tea service with those who are in need of a relaxing and healthy break, such as the patients and caretakers at hospitals and senior centers.
