Description
WORKSHOP @ ARTSEEN
Creating Interactive Art at Any Skill Level
Presented by artist Samuel Lopez de Victoria, this workshop is built to educate artists on the tools available to create and run their own interactive software. The workshop is constructed around accessibility, focusing on techniques that require minimal programming to no coding at all while still creating strong work. To many, technology comes off as complicated and difficult when in reality it is not. Artists of any technical skill level will be able to use and make the examples shown. The workshop will cover an overview on current interactive arts & media, the future of interactive work, software & tool introductions, tool basics, and accessory/art medium implication ideas and uses. Feel free to bring questions or work of any format.
Wednesday, February 9, 7-8 PM @ Artseen
