Here in Miami each venue has it's own little sound niche. Bardot does their chillwave avant-garde pop thing, PAX welcomes all things latin alternative, and Grand Central mans the electro fort. While Cafeina has been around for a bit now, they are now establishing themselves as a house for fresh world electro beats. Their latest party is I Love Juernes, and it gives Miamians a reason besides the fact that it's Miami and we go out every other night to go out on Thursday. I love Juernes features DJs from the new latin electronic scene that's growing fast and steady. This week features electropico staple Mr. Pauer, and if you haven't been to one of his sets then we suggest you get to it. His music ranges and fluctuates into just about everything, as in, expect to hear some Nirvana thrown in with Wilfrido Vargas, but laced with deep house beats. Sounds if-y? His Grammy nomination makes us differ. And if his music isn't enough to make you stay for the night, then $4 tequila and aguardiente shots will. Just don't request any cheesy cantina songs, ok?
