Too much Belanova is prone to give me a sugar rush.
Mexican pop trio, Belanova, has released their fifth studio album Sueño Electro II. Follow up to their 2010 release, Sueño Electro I, the pop-rock stars decided to keep it safe and do what they do best; cosmo's, candy, and beats. This deluxe edition includes: 11 tracks, 2 music videos, 6 live sessions, and an exclusive interview.
3 Songs Worth Listening:
- "Hasta el Final" - Belanova finally experiments with something else that's not along the fine lines of pop and candy. In this track, the trio tone it down in a melancholic ranchera about the downfall of love.
- "Luna" - This track takes me back to Dulce Beat. It hold Belanova's signature rhythm of spacial galactic melodies and simple synth beats.
- "Tic Toc" - Is the only english-speaking track on the album. This electro jam features T.A.T.U.'s former singer, Lena Katina. The energy and collaboration is spell-bounding.
This album makes me want to: Either take spinning class ASAP or jump on a plane to Tokyo, Japan.
