Sorry to burst your bubble but it's nothing like Cross.
It sounds like the French duo rode Gaspard Augé's mustache back to 1975 and turned epic 70's arena prog-rock into a 1980's interstellar adventure. No need to cringe your teeth it's not as tacky as it sounds. While I was expecting more dancefloor ready songs, it was mostly "Wait a minute, am I tripping inside of a videogame?". However, knowing Justice, it goes without saying that the album was expertly produced and crafted.
3 Songs Worth Listening:
- "Civilization" - Audio Video Disco's first single Unites the best of video-gamery with Cross anthems. Vocals by Ali Love. For fans of DVNO.
- "Ohio" - Such a great driving song. I'm not sure I get the lyrics but thats ok. "Ohioooo. Tennessee. Caaaaliforniaa . And the sea. Ride ooooooon" (that's what I make it out as anyway)
- "Audio Video Disco" - Has a great feel of epic build up and a perfect album closer.
