Our favorite Mexican songstress, Ely Guerra, has been preparing what she likes to call "a gift to her fans." Already available via iTunes, Guerra has recently released a new version of her Grammy winning album Hombre Invisible. This version is called Invisible Man and includes all of her original tracks from Hombre Invisible in a serious jazz experience.
3 Songs Worth Listening To:
- "Antes de Septiembre" is my favorite single from Hombre Invisible, because of its power and intense beat. The jazz version is more mellow-toned and elegant due to its intense piano strokes.
- The jazz version of "Messy," compared to Hombre Invisible, is more precise, clear, and dare I even say, more sensual.
- "La Habitacion" is just as warm and inviting in Invisible Man as it is originally in Hombre Invisible.
