This little French band has quite the album history and is finally getting better media coverage! You might remember them from the 'Lost In Translation' Movie Soundtrack, if you're nerdy enough like me, they were featured with the song "Too Young". But that was a while back! now they released "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" a super fun album to say the least, Phoenix's vocals and good vibes are sure to put you in a great mood.
The album's first single is "Lisztomania", the term was coined by the German romantic literary figure Heinrich Heine to describe the massive public response to Franz Liszt's virtuosic piano performances. There were allegedly screaming women at these performances, and the audience was sometimes limited to standing room only, apparently.
The vocals on "Fences" are simply delightful, and that little disco vibe makes you groove on. "Love Like A Sunset" (If you listened to me and downloaded the free mixes from Urban Outfitters, you heard it) has an extended instrumental/digital introduction, uplifting and perfect to be followed by... it's second part.
This album is bound to be one of your favorites this summer, give it a listen!
