The comedy duet of quirky New Zealanders is back with the soundtrack to the second season of their HBO series. "I Told You I Was Freaky" is nowhere near as good as their previous release, but it's still pretty funny. "Sugarlumps" is an electric hip hop track that basically talks about ...balls. Yeah, who would know they could talk about how much girls love them for two minutes straight? This track includes the participation of Arj Barker, who raps for a little about things that I wish weren't so graphic. He also raps on "Two Many Dicks (On The Dancefloor)", the track that they decided to use to open their show earlier this year in the Bank Atlantic Center.
Their rendition of a reggae 'Roxanne' is morphed into "You Don't Have To Be A Prostitute", a track talking about a... 'man whore'. Yes, a little embarrassing to say the least. "Carol Brown" is one of the funniest, talking about all the girls that have left Jemaine throughout time and are now arranged into a chorus to back him up. "Friends" is also pretty silly, and "Angels" was the only song that stood out for me when I watched the first episode of the second season. You have to be emotionally ready to hear this. I'm not quite sure in what way.
