Album number six is dark, obtains beautiful imagery, and sets a mood of natural tranquility.
According to Enrique Bunbury, this is his most intimate work yet. Las Consecuencias is composed of 10 tracks, all which I consider to be very elegant.
"Las Consecuencias" is the first track on the album, which pretty much sets the mood for the rest of the album, perfect for a dusky evening. I love the crashing waves and pelicans chorus found at the beginning of "El Boxeador", I also admire the message sent, el boxeador is someone who falls only to rise again. "Frente a Frente" is the first single from the album, (which was featured on our Just Fabrikated section), this track is a remake of Jeanette's 1981 hit. "Los habitantes" represents Enrique Bunbury's edgy side, with a more electric melody and intense guitar riffs found in the core of the track.
Toning it down from Heroes del Silencio, Bunbury's style is profound, exotic, and rich and it can all be observed in his latest album, Las Consecuencias.
Not everyone is a fan of Bunbury's solo work but let's face it, this man writes lyrics to live by.
